p value

The p value uses Fisher's exact test to determine the probability that this exact combination of values will appear. A lower value means the association of the phenotype is more significant when viewed in context of the DECIPHER data. Because of the size of DECIPHER data, it is not unusual for numbers in this column to be very small.

Odds ratio

The Odds ratio is another indicator of the significance of a phenotype association. A higher value means the association of the phenotype is more significant when viewed in context of the DECIPHER data. If the phenotype is only associated with one gene, the value here will be infinite.

In addition to the odds ratio itself, the 95% confidence intervals for the odds ratio are given in brackets.
